Let’s take a look at Philips’ Essence, model number 42PES0001. It seems that the company will release this LCD TV very soon. Measures a mere 38mm thin, this 42-inch HD-ready LCD TV boasts a contrast ratio of 66000:1, can process 2,250 trillion colors, and 100Hz clear LCD technology with a refresh rate of two milliseconds. It also comes include a DLNA PC link connectors and three HDMI for connectivity options. Unfortunately, Philips have not been announced the availability or price, but i guess it would be going expensive.

Mitsubishi 65-inch LaserVue Rear Projection 1080p TV
Mitsubishi’s 65-inch LaserVue 1080p rear-projection HDTV is priced at a hefty $7,000.The TV will be released later this month. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing for its 73-inch version. As a reminder, the LaserVue is a laser-based HDTV, which uses an array of red, green, and blue lasers to project its image onto the screen. According to Mitsubishi, this HDTV provides a color gamut over 200% NTSC standard, and consumes less than 200 watts.

Sharp Aquos D65U LCD TVs For The US Market
How lucky to be Americans because Sharp has decided to launch the D65U series of LCD HDTV statesides in October 2008. The LCD TV offers a native resolution of 1080p, Energy Star-compliant, active backlight and contrast controls and 176-degrees viewing angle. There are also a total of five HDMI ports, two composite inputs, one S-video, and PC-in. The monitor also adopts Sharp’s Advanced Super View and Black TFT Panel technologies. The Sharp Aquos D65U LCD TVs are priced at between $1600 to $2400, depending on the screen’s size.
