BenQ Announces nScreen All-In-One PCs
BenQ has rolled out two nScreen all-in-one PCs namely the i91 and i221. The i91 comes with 18.5-inch widescreen joined by the i221 with 21.5-inch widescreen, both feature 16:9 aspect ratio displays and a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam. Other features for either system include a 1.5GHz AMD Sempron CPU, 1GB of RAM, an ATI Radeon X1200 graphic chipset, 160GB hard drive, Windows XP Home operating system, an Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi module. Both systems are planned to be shipped in Taiwan, Australia and japan this coming Spring. The i91 is already available in Taiwan market at $517, as for the i221 is not yet available until spring.

CyberPower has released its Windows Home Server 100 which is a small form factor home-based server that allows users to easily access their files, photos, videos and music in their home or remotely. This energy-saving server is able to perform backups of your computers daily via the home network. The Windows Home Server 100 features Intel Atom 330 Dual Core processor, Intel Mini-ITX mainboard with Intel GMA 950, S-video output support, 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, ALC662 High Definition Audio, 500GB SATA-II hard drive, 2GB DDR2 RAM and Microsoft Windows 2003 Server OEM version. You can bring home this server for a reasonable $399.

We have mentioned the MSI Wind NetOn all-in-one PC in January. This Intel Atom powered PC is now available in Japan. The AE1900-WH is priced at 60000 Yen or approx. €500. Each purchase comes with a 19 inch desktop with a 1366×768 resolution, 1GB of RAM, an Intel 945GC Express video chipset, an Intel Atom 230 CPU, 160GB of HDD, DVD super multi and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.
Lenovo IdeaCentre A600 All-In-One PC
Here is the IdeaCentre from Lenovo that will be announced at CES 2009. It is an all-in one PC which is touted as “the world’s thinnest all-in-one PC”. The computer comes jam packed with a Lenovo keyboard with a touchpad, Lenovo’s Motion Drive Remote that is also a VOIP handset, motion Drive Remote with an accelerometer, and a (Media Center) remote. Other features include a 21.5 inch display (1920×1080 pixels) with 16:9 ratio, Digital TV Tuner (Media Center compatible), Intel Core Duo CPU, up to 4GB DDR3, up to 1TB of storage, 6x USB 2.0, 1x Firewire (1394), up to 2MP webcam. The price starts from $$999, upwards depending on the specs.

MSI Wind Netbook
I can say this Wind Nettop CD100jp is a desktop version of the MSI Wind netbook. The mini desktop is now available in Japan. The Wind Nettop CD100jp is powered by an Intel Atom 330 CPU at 1.60GHz with a 945GC Express + ICH7 chipset motherboard. Measuring at only 65mm x 240mm x 300mm, the MSI Wind Nettop CD100jp retails for 26000 Yen or around €200.

Asus Eee Box Accessories
Asus will release its Eee Box accessories including a wireless mouse, keyboard, and media center remote control. No word on pricing of these accessories. I think Asus will sell them separately to kee down the price of the base unit.

Asus Eee Box Receives HDMI Port
Asus has updates its two new Eee Box range with HDMI feature. The two models are the Asus Eee Box B204 and B206. Both PCs are now able to connect to your LCD or Plasma via the built in HDMI. These mini desktops also come equipped with new software called Eee Cinema, a fully featured media player that allows users to play HD video. The Asus Eee Box B204 and B206 offer an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and an ATI Radeon HD 3400 256MB graphics card. No word yet on pricing or availability.

Clevery Japan today introduced their new ST8 Mini, a BTO compact desktop that is priced at 34,800 Yen or less than €300. Each purchase of this mini desktop you will receive a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 CPU with an Intel 945GC Express chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 500GB of HDD (SATA 7200rpm). If you don’t like the Atom CPU, you can also choose a Core 2 Duo E7300 or a E8400 CPU. In addition, the ST8 Mini uses a 300W power supply.

Psystar Open Computer notes
Okay, so we’ve been playing with the Psystar Open Computer for a few hours now, and we’ve formed some early impressions and put together a short video of it in action. We haven’t really tried to stress the system yet, but based on our other experiences with OSx86 machines, we’re expecting things to generally go smoothly. That said, there are some definite rough patches and issues, all mostly having to do with the fact that OS X isn’t really built for this hardware. Here’s what we know so far:
