Two New Navigation Gadgets From Nextar
Nextar today officially announced two new GPS units in its SNAP family. Dubbed as the SNAP5 and SNAP7, the former has a 5-inch touch panel and the latter comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display. Both navigation gadgets measure at only 0.7-inches thick and come equipped with stereo speakers, text-to-speech support, US / Canada Tele Atlas maps, an SD card slot, a built-in MP3 player / JPEG viewer, 2D / 3D map viewing modes, a rechargeable Li-ion battery and a magnetic docking station. The Nextar SNAP5 and SNAP7 will be released in the US market in Spring 2009 for $299.99 and $349.99, respectively.

Sanyo HNV-M70 Wi-Fi Digital Photo Frame
Sanyo will release its new HNV-M70 ALBO digital photo frame that has a 7 inch LCD display (800 x 480 resolution) with 256MB of internal memory. Available in black or green, the frame also sports Wi-Fi connectivity, IR sensor, RSS/email reader, automatic screen rotation, multi-memory card reader, and Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system. The Sanyo HNV-M70 will be released in Japan next month for $423 each.

Denon released two new home A/V systems in the form of the Smart S-102 and Smart S-302. The first one features a DVD player with internal 1080p upscaling and HDMI output, a 2 x 35 watt amplifier for the speakers, and a 100 watt powered subwoofer. The Smart S-302 offers 2 x 50 watt amplifier and WiFi streaming capability. The Smart S-102 and Smart S-302 retail for $1,600 and $2,518 respectively.
