Corsair has recently rolled out their latest ultra-high performance DDR3 memory module, the CMGTX1 Dominator GTX. This new 2GB memory module has passed Intel’s XMP-Ready certification process at a speed of 2333MHz making it the fastest Intel XMP-certified memory in the world. In terms of performance, the GTX is able to operate at up to 2400MHz at timings of 9-11-9-27 at 1.65V, and comes equipped with Corsair’s patented DHX+ heatsink. The Corsair CMGTX1 Dominator GTX 2GB Memory Module is now available for purchase via Corsair’s online store for $200.

Audio-Technica has just unveiled their latest combo gadget in the form of the AT-HA35i headphones amp and iPod dock combo. Weighing 485grams, the gadget features a D/A converter, which supports a high quality sound 192 kHz/24bit audio DAC. You can connect the AT-HA35i to any compatible devices as long as they have an analog output (RCA), an S-Video output, or a digital output. The Audio-Technica AT-HA35i retails for 50,400 Yen ($558).

The 808.3 Signature Reference CD player from Meridian Audio provides CD playback from a specially built drive, which claims vastly improved data recovery and error correction. The player features triple FIFO buffering and employs Meridian’s proprietary DSP based “apodising” up-sampling system. The 808.3 provides several audio input options such as analogue, digital, and a new balanced digital audio SpeakerLink input along with a sophisticated volume control.

Developed by a dyslexic Stanford graduate, the Intel Reader is a powerful device for dyslexic and visually impaired readers, that enables them to scan entire pages of text to audio for immediate playback or later review. The gadget is powered by an Intel Atom processor and a high resolution camera, allowing it to capture text from a variety of sources such as books, newspaper, restaurant menus, or academic journals. The scanned text can be magnified and read on the device or listened to via on-board speaker or headphones.

The Boogie Board from Improv Electronics adopts the Reflex LCD technology from Ohio’s Kent Displays. The Reflex LCD is a pressure-sensitive flexible plastic that requires zero power to retain what’s written on it and only a small watch battery to erase the screen. Written and graphic images are created with an included stylus or any other instrument that will apply the desired pressure (even with a finger nail).

Measuring 0.35-inch thick, the Asus DR-950 is powered by a 1024 x 768 pixel display and supports a wide range of formats including ePub, HTML, and PDF. Additional features include text-to-speech functionality and an SD card slot for storage expansion.

PhotoFast has announced a new line of SSDs, the G-Monster2 SFV1. Coming in 50GB, 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities, these 2.5-inch drives feature built-in MLC NAND flash memory chips, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, a MTBF of over 1 million hours and provide read/write speeds of up to 260/160 MB/s. The PhotoFast G-Monster2 SFV1 will start shipping next month for unannounced price yet.

The company has recently launched the GenevaSound S that features two 3-inch drivers along with a class D energy-efficient amp that pushed 15-watts to each channel. The iPod dock also has an iPod Universal Dock that supports a wide variety of iPods and iPhones. Additional specs include an alarm clock, and an FM radio with six station presets. The GenevaLab Sound System Model S also comes with a table stand, allowing the user the choice of elevating the system, so it takes up less space on a nightstand, a counter or a desk.
